K & V Farms is owned by Paxton (Pax) and Gena Vasbinder. We have two daughters, Kayla and Victoria, for whom we named our business. The 2012 season marks our fourth year bringing produce to the Liberty markets and our third year to offer a CSA. We enjoy connecting with new customers, getting to know our members and hearing how they enjoy our produce. My parents purchased the farm in 1973 and still live there today. Our 65 acre farm is located in Cowgill, MO, a 45 minute drive from Liberty. Most of the acreage is in pasture for cattle. Pax and I both have fond memories of working and playing in the garden with our parents and grandparents. Whether we are planting spring crops, snapping green beans while sitting in the porch swing on a nice summer day or picking that first juicy tomato, gardening allows us to spend more time with our family, love our work, and nourish our bodies with healthy, tasty foods.
