Our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program

What Is CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) started in the early 1980's in New England as a means of connecting communities with their local farmers.  Members pay up-front to provide the farmer with much-needed capital at the beginning of the season.  Members get fresh, local produce and an intimate connection to the people growing their food.

Benefits to Our CSA Membership

  • Freshness - Experience the joys of eating fresh, healthy food in season.
  • Selection - Choose your favorite veggies from our Farmer's Market tables.
  • Flexibility - You are never penalized for skipping a week.
  • Farm Visit - See where your veggies are grown.
  • Relationship - Get to know the farmer.

CSA members purchase a half ($200) or full ($400) share at the beginning of the season which they then spend like cash throughout the year.  Members can always add to their balance at any point should they use it all before the end of the season.  A major benefit to this program is its flexibility.  If you go on vacation your balance will be waiting for you when you return.

Our farmers’ market season runs from May through September/October.  As members, you pick out your produce over the course of the season and we subtract the weekly selections from your credit balance. You may inquire about your credit balance at market or by email.  You can choose as much or as little as you want each week. Please note that some times during the year we sell out before the end of the market day so we encourage you to come early in order to have the largest selection of produce.
